The maintenance and care of stamped parts mainly revolves around the daily use and regular maintenance of the dies, as well as the standardized operation of the entire production process. The core objectives are to ensure stable quality of stamped parts, extend die life, and ensure safe and efficient production.

Daily Maintenance of Stamping Dies (Performed by Operators)

Daily maintenance is the foundation of stamping operations and is usually completed by operators before and after each production batch:

Pre-use Inspection

Clean the upper and lower surfaces of the die to prevent damage or uneven mounting surfaces.

Check that the die markings are clear and confirm that the die used is consistent with the process documents.

Check the punch and die for cracks, deformation, sharpness of the cutting edges, and loose fasteners.

Ensure that the press parameters are matched and the die is securely and reliably installed.

In-production Maintenance

Regularly lubricate and apply oil to the drawing die pressure ring, trimming die cutting edges, and other parts.

Clean the small waste channels promptly to prevent blockages that could affect continuous production.

Monitor the stamping status; immediately stop the machine if jamming or overlapping stamping is detected.

Post-Production Cleaning

Thoroughly remove waste material, metal filings, and oil stains from the mold cavity to maintain cleanliness.

Inspect the mold's condition and accurately complete the "Mold Daily Maintenance Record."

Return the mold to its proper place, avoiding impacts and damp environments.
